I just start streaming survival games, like Don't Starve (Together) and ARK: Survival Evolved on Twitch while I was supposed to be working, so I thought why not throw in a design stream once in a while.
While I keep this account reserved for my artwork I actually work as graphic designer. Now the stuff I am going to show in my stream is only going to be personal work, since I can't just show actual client work.
The things I design are mainly going to be corporate design stuff, which includes stuff like logo design, packaging and brand packages. That means these are not the typical "fun unrestricted design things" but more on the professional side. So I can understand that it's not going to be something for everyone to enjoy, but if you do want to drop by and check it out you are more then welcome!
When I get around to doing some new digital art I might stream that as well.
Also if you are interested in my game streams you are definatly welcome to join those too :D
Sometimes I stream in German sometimes in English, so if you don't speak German but want to watch, just let me know and I'll switch to English.

Etsy Store

I finally got around to creating my own Etsy store, there's not much in there yet, but I got lots of new paintings laying around from the last couple spring fairs that are waiting to be photographed and uploaded.
That includes my Deviantart Page and my Etsy store from now on!
If you like a painting that isn't included in my store yet feel free to send me a note though and we can work something out given that I haven't sold it already.

Have a look at my Etsy Store here: www.etsy.com/de/shop/mhummeltA…

I'll be selling my spray paint art from 1-6pm from Saturday to Monday on a Farmers Art Fair(Bauernmarkt) in Leopoldshöhe Germany. The great part is, that I got a licenece to actually spray some new works on the spot! That means I'll be creating lots of new pieces with some new stencils, that I'm making right now. Also I'm planning on trying out a new technique as well so stay tuned!

Another idea I've been tossing around my head for a while now is to do workshops for my technique during the summer. I'm calculating 30-40€ for materials but I have no idea how much I could charge for a full day workshop.
I'd be really glad if someone could comment or note me with how much you'd be willing to spend for something like this!

Another thing I've been asking myself from the beginning is, which category here on deviantart would these fall into?
I've usually submitted them to the Traditional->Other, or the Traditional->Painting->Other categories but is traditional really the correct category? Woldn't Artisan Crafts be a better fit? I've seen many so called "spacepaintings" that work with the same technique be listed under Street Art and while I did learn the basics from a street artist, I can not see this work fit under that label. This is obviously not sprayed onto walls or the like and not meant destinctively for public spaces and thus is by definition definitely not Street Art...
So now I'm asking for your opinions, what do you think?

Instead of simply featuring some peoples work I'll have a look thorugh the gallery of the first five people to comment on this, pick my favourite Work and feature it here with a small description of why I chose that one! Wink/Razz And I'll also throw in a llama for everyone :D

As this is a "pay it forward" kind of journal anyone who comments should add a journal like this to thair page as well.

I got this idea from :iconrowanthefierce: so I'll start of with one of her works:

To be honest I didn't go through all of your deviations, as I simply don't have any spare time at the moment, (I will when I have the time to do so) so there might be some even better than this but this pieces really caught my eye and I loved the writing! The plot turned out quite different than I expected, not going for the obvious making this short story more rememberable and thoughtful! Great work!

Paint and Shoot

I am in the middle of quite a few huge projects right now. One of them is an image brochure for which I'll be painting a couple commonly unknown animals like the Hoatzin, Saola and Irawaddy. The Hoatzin I already finished last Sunday:

and I am working on the Saola right now this is as far as I got:

I will also try to be more active again and I will upload quite a few photographs from several shootings during the next few days.
